PERFORMANCE TARGETS FOR THE DELASALLE VEHICLE COMPARED TO AN ELECTRIC FORD RANGER EV_PARAMETERS_Page_1.jpg

TECHNICAL DATA AND PREDICTED PERFORMANCE

The first graph is the predicted performance of a 1987 Ranger Pickup that has been converted to an electric vehicle.
The data is from Build Your Own Electric Car, by Seth Leitman and Bob Brant.
This graph shows the performance of a typical electrical vehicle conversion that weighs 3800 Lb.

The second graph is the predicted performance of the DeLaSalle Automotive Design Studio vehicle based on the 2000 Lola.
The target ADS parameters were substituted for the Ranger parameters and the choice of voltage and gear ratio were optimized
to show the performance required of an urban commuter.
